Now Hiring Seasonal Farm Workers

Persephone Farm seeks dedicated individuals with a passion for farming to help grow vegetable seeds, garlic and other storage crops, and care for the land.

This position is a good fit for you if:

  • you have previous farm experience: moving irrigation pipe and operating an irrigation pump, seeding, transplanting, weeding, operating tractors, mowers, discs and harrows, and threshing and cleaning seed crops

  • you like tinkering, building and fixing things

  • you enjoy working independently as well as in the company of a seasoned farmer with knowledge to share

  • you prefer working outdoors among trees, a river, and hawks, to a desk or warehouse job.

Positions are a minimum of 16 hours per week and a maximum of 40 hours/week. The flexibility is to allow you to fit this position into your existing schedule of other employment if needed. Days of the week are flexible to a certain extent, though we do not work on Sundays. These positions begin March 14, 2023 or as soon as possible, and continue through November 30, 2023. Part time Winter work (December through February) is also available.
